You guys use Air Cargo for domestic shipping ? How about for international ?

Does anyone have any experience with this bass or know its true origin?
Thanks. | Drove up to Mystic last Saturday to pick up my Medio Fino...the quality of the bass is well above my Engelhardt. Not to mention that they are some of the nicest guys you can do business with. Honest, hard working bunch up there. They really seemed to care about what "I" wanted, rather than just making a sale. For the price and setup, you really can't beat it.
Now I gotta go practice

Thanks. | Actually, U.S. trade law requires country-of-origin labeling on all imported products sold here. |

That's quite evident from the posts in this thread. I guess Gary will just have to whip up a bunch of "Made in Poland" stickers or whatever. I wonder if it's like mattresses such that you can't remove them!

Including the quote that you did, along with the information that the country of origin must be disclosed could be misconstrued by some that something might be amiss. I wanted to be explicit in stating that nothing could be further from the truth. Now that you have gone on record with a consistent claim all is well in Bassland. |

I only learned of the labeling regulations in the last year or so and was instructed to label country-of origin on instruments I was selling. I had hoped to pass on the info and save someone else (Upton) a potential problem. I also felt it was a bit unusual to refuse to identify the country in which those instruments are made. What could the downside possibly be to the seller? |

While you may not have meant to IMPLY "fishiness," I was trying to guard against an improper INFERENCE on the part of the reader. I explained that. So now we're all clear (again) regarding your intentions. This seems much ado about nothing and you're re-stirring an old pot. I think the thread dealt quite thoroughly with all of this. Hey, lighten up guy! |

Does anyone own one of these beasties and what is your review of the instrument VS other laminates in the price range.
I am a 50 something bass playyer, electric to this point, but looking at my first upright.

What a great bass. ...A significant upgrade from the Englehardt Swingmaster I tried out or German Knilling I was renting. Well worth the $1500. Right now I'm experimenting with the Revelotion Solo pickup. |
