| Vagabond Bass - Resources? Hello All:
Years ago, I was in a shop in Louisville, KY that had an upright bass called a Vagabond bass. (There's a slight chance it could've been called a Wayfarere bass.) It was a plywood bass designed for travel and taking abuse. It had no real ornamentation and the body was most unique - it is difficult to explain it exactly, but try to imagine an oblong hexagon on an endpin. That might come close to describing it.
My questions:
have you heard of it?
know where I can obtain info about it?
who makes it?
I'd just call the shop I saw it at, but it has been so long I doubt the same people even work there anymore. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
