Just curious...as I work for a distributor myself and we once carried the Musima line...which company did your dad own?

Seeing you are in NYC...I have a few ideas.

I appreciate your consideration for my privacy Eroy ....
Let's put it this way my mom is now 80 years old ... the Ideal that existed when my dad was alive is getting impossible for her to handle alone and I have zero interest in getting involved. The decision was made to scale things way down so she can continue as long as she wants to and scaling things down meant eliminating an enormous inventory especially in basses. Having said that, Ideal will continue for as long as my mom wants it to. What can I say ? She was with my dad so long she's become exactly like him ... loves to handle the chinrests, bows, strings, tailpieces .. but basses??? It's a bit much for her at this stage of the game.
