Wasn't sure where to put this...Flight Case comparisons

I'm trying to find flight cases, preferably on the cheap side of $1-2k (I know, it's almost impossible), and I'm wondering, how does everyone feel about Upton Bass' flight case?

Just realized that I don't think Upton has a flight case. Regardless, suggestions and resources are welcome.

http://www.bassbass.co.nz/flight_case_for_bass.htm is the flight case I got for my Christopher flatback.

Pros: It's cheap compared to a fiberglass case and very light (made out of polystyrene).

Cons: it's huge! it won't fit in a car, very awkward to wheel around, Won't fit my bass with the cover on, is too small for my New Standard Cleveland.

I recently bought a Kolstein case used for less than $2K. It was in good shape, and the dinged-up hardware was easily replaceable. Ironically, I haven't needed to use it yet. But, the price was right so I snapped it up when it was available. I bought it as a road case and not necessarily for flying. It has become so difficult to fly with a bass that many players are selling their cases, if you look around you can probably find a great deal on one. They are fairly easy to repair/refurbish, so if you're not afraid to spruce a used one up a little you should have no trouble.
