Cool Montagnana

To add to one of the many sub-plots floating though this tread.
Ok I found a few pictures of a mature bass ; a real Montagnana [I was cleaning out some old magazines and found a old copy of DB: spring 1999].

Two piece, they say it isn't bookmatched but both pieces are from the same tree, i.e. grain-matched.

Actually, it's not too much info if you've just moved your workshop and discovered some wood with worm holes. (English "Sycamore", only violin/viola size, and fortunately in a box not close to the main wood pile!).
