Seems to be a brand name attached to certain instruments that may or may not have been made in a German factory. Found a few violins & violas etc. with that badge. Sold by a music store or a dealer or whatever, likely in the usual plywood/hybrid/all solid options.

In other words, go check it out in person and see if it appears to be a quality instrument at a good price. The name doesn't mean much.
