What size double bass do i need.

Hi. I'm looking into purchasing a double bass. I'm 6'1 and play with a Francois Rabbath style bent end pin. I have a 3/4 All ply Englehardt bass, i think my end pin is too long because the whole instrument shakes when i use vibrato. Do i need a 7/8 bass?

What instruments would you Recommend in the under $5000 range? I play both Classical and Jazz.

3/4 quarter should be fine 7/8 seems to be a little deeper bigger bout. But they are not to different size wise, the whole bass vibrates with vibrato? well thats what bass's do......does it buzz? No then your ok
