Will I need to use humidifiers California?

Well Im moving to the OC area and I dont know much about it. I live in Peru which is in south america so it has a perfect weather for instruments... Iv never used them here and never had problems with my bass so I dont know... Im afraid something will happen if i dont use them in Cali.

You should be all right. I'm in LA and keep a humidifier in the "bass" room. It's geared to go on automatically whenever humidity drops below 45% - I try and keep it in the 50-55% range. Sometimes humidity will go as high as 60-65% (as it did this summer) and sometimes drop to 30% (rarely - Santa Ana conditions etc)

As long as you keep an eye out you should have no problems.

Welcome!

The weather is mostly mild here. Unless you're are one of those people who blasts the heater during cold weather, you'll likely have no issues.
