Don't remind me I have to take this thing over there....... I'm about done with that place.
As loud as that group plays, does it really matter how it sounds? Do you actually take a good bass over there?

I got my Upton Hybrid Hawkes a year sound or sight unseen and unheard, and I don't reget it for a second. I got it strung with the Upton Blacks, and they were beautiful for me. I was able to learn without digging up my fingers. I have since applied a set of Clef Guts to the bass and I would never look back. I've gotten good reviews on how the instrument sounds, and it plays well for me -- I'm still learning so you have to temper this with what I have to say. I have been playing other instruments besides bass for years, so I didn't just fall off the turnip truck musically.

Maybe I mistook something there earlier but ..... Did FarmerDude just call you a KnuckleHead ? You guys are pretty tough on each other.

Tractor .... Isn't this a pic of some of your non-tractor implements that I saw somewhere else ? Maybe you could thump Clink upside the noggin with your vintage fully-aluminium bass implement (probably made from downed WW II P-51's) if he gives you any more trouble! He will most likely want to trade his carved bass for the Tin-Foil Special after he hears the fine tone ringing in his head ! Just joshin' Tractor .... I would like to hear that strange bass sometime ... I'm just havin' a hard time predicting in my mind what one of those must sound like.

Sorry for Major Hi-Jack .... I enjoy these Rural FarmerDude / Big City Clink guys and always learn something when they sound off.

We love ya Bobby...you have a spark of enthusiasm that makes TB interesting again..

...I cant afford the diesel now at $3.60 to drive the big tractor clear over there.....have to sell more $12 beans

....As for Clink...all I got to say is-GO MU

My good bass pretty much only goes to Church. I keep it far away from Knuckleheads.

I'll be careful and don't expect to be there much longer anyway. However, everything can be fixed.
