Wittner Tailpiece

So I am considering a composite tailpiece. I hear that with a less dense tailpiece comes more volume, and an overall better sound. Is this true, or am I being sold a bag of goods? My choice is this "space age" composite tailpiece with the nice coated tailpiece gut, or a real ebony tailpiece with a nylon tailgut. What do you guys think?

Here 's my story...I have a 7 year old E-M1 which is finally starting to "open up" tonally.
(with the help of some sanding to remove a lot of that heavy finish.) With my latest set of strings (UB Blacks) I also tried the Wittner composite tail piece. Since I changed strings and TP at the same time its hard to say wich change helped the most, but I am convinced the Wittner opened up the low end. (with nylon tail gut).

Also GB, I should mention I am purely pizz, bluegrass and traditional jazz.
Most of the TBers I've read agree that arco needs more mass ie ebony.
