Xuechang Sun

I was wondering if anybody knows how to contact Xuechang Sun workshop directly (it's in Beijing, China). I will visit a friend in December and I thought I could check out some basses. A quick search shows many instruments for sale in the USA, but I doubt the dealers will actually give me his contact info.
If anybody has an idea I would appreciate the help. Also any comment about his instruments is very welcome. They seem to be among the best coming out of China.

Thanks in advance.

Don't assume dealers won't help you out. A dealer put me into direct contact with a manufacturer over seas and it worked out well for me.

Thanks a lot for the offer Kevin, I really appreciate. I just updated my profile so it shows I live in Europe. A bit too far from New York.

And yes, I'll try to contact the dealers if I don't get any info here.

Contact your nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate. They'll help you out. Also, I've seen a couple of Chinese internet sites that list manufactures in China. Be prepared to wade through a lot of info.

You might get a deal in China, but although they make good instruments, or at least some of them do, friends who have been there tell me they really don't know what it is they are making and they haven't a clue as to how to set one up correctly. Add to that shipping and import costs and you might be able to buy one cheaper in the US. Especially if you buy from someone who is getting their basses by the cargo container.
