I think I would have a Bohmann like PW's... but 4 string.

The $9000 Juzek at David Gage's is quite a monster as well. |

| | | | When I was on my shopping trip I played several basses I fell in love with that I couldn't afford.
Kolstien's Prescott, the Arvill Shaw
A Fendt at Kolstiens
A Hill bass at Kolstiens
Ken Smith's Storioni
Of them the Storioni is one of the most stunning things I've ever played.
Edit: Oh yea and Brian Glassman's Prescott. Yikes.
Having said that, I wouldn't want any of them. I couldn't take them out of the house. What I've got is the best!
For the moment....GAS free.

The Bohmann thanks you as well as my own self.
I'm so lucky to have that bass. If I ever decided to get another master bass, i've always had a Jones for a Prescott Busetto.
Great idea for a thread heading my dear!

So my dream bass would have me able to play it like Paul Chambers. Or even like Paul Warburton. Or even Victor Dvoskin. (Since I just bought his old bass, maybe something will rub offf!)
I've got a LONG way to go, but you did invite me to dream! |

- a Jakstadt
- a Thomas Martin
I never personally played any of them, but I liked the Jakstadts that I've played. Without having played it, I openly lust after the cornerless basses belonging to Ken Smith and the one that's under construction in the Setup and Repair forum. I played a Prescott once and loved the way it sounded.
But what I'd really like is for my Kai Arvi to have an extension on it - then I wouldn't really have any serious bass-lust.
