1969 DIY EUB

Anyone tried this at home? In the Jan. 1969 issue of "Electronics Illustrated" there´s a cover story on how to build your own EUB - see the result on the cover!

That must be a "surf" bass....looks like a breaking wave.

But never mind the bass....how can I get my hair to do that?!
