"Amazing" Upright Electric Bass

Hi gang !!!
I'm looking for any information about the "Amazing Musical Instrument Company" and specifically their upright electric bass.
The body of the bass is shaped somewhat like a canoe paddle. It's done in an amber-burst finish (beautiful !!!!) and has open-gear, black Grover machine heads on it. It has a 4-bolt neck and a single, very large volume pot, mounted into a metal plate, on the back.
Does anyone know of or know anything at all, about these instruments ?
Many thanks !!!!!

The most comprehensive EUB list I know is here:
http://ebass.nl/site2/models/

There was a line of electric instruments, the whole violin family, but I think the brand was "Aamazing", and it was canadian made.
But it was long ago, and it doesn,t seem to exits anymore.

Merci, Francois !
Through some other contacts I have been able to determine that it was a Canadian made product (you're correct). There was some talk that the original owner of the company was working at The 12th Fret, in Toronto. But, I wasn't able to confirm that when I called them.
Thanks again !!
John

I bought an Amazing 5 bass in 1988 in Toronto
It had a phenolic neck and fingerboard

Thanks

No I sold it when I moved to Japan
It really did look like a big paddle
It was headless too

Thanks
