Talking Anyone in Southern CA with a 5-string Zeta Crossover or NS Bass Cello that I can try?

I live in Southern California, and am trying without success to find a dealer who carries and stocks the Zeta Crossover bass or NS Designs Bass Cello. I want to buy one or the other in 5-string configuration, but I really need to play and hear them both first before making a decision.

Does anyone in Southern California (Mexican border through San Luis Obispo and points east) have either one of these basses that I can come and try for a few minutes? I can come to your home, show up prior to a gig, etc., at your convenience. Although I acknowledge that we bass players are generally (albeit undeservedly) regarded as shifty characters, I assure you that I am an established family guy, and will not try to steal your gear or run off with your women. I will attempt to reciprocate your kindness with alcohol, questionable responses to general legal questions, or inappropriate musician jokes - just please let me play your bass! Send me an email at chrisianity@aol.com.

I vaguely recall seeing an NS cello in Lemur music a while back; I imagine you've tried them, but just in case...

I did try Lemur music recently, and they've got no Bass Cellos. Thanks anyway, though!

Hey Nitrouso... I don't know if you made a purchase yet, but I just picked up some concerts in S.F. on Dec 9-12. I know it's not exactly in the 'hood, but if you find yourself upstate at that time, you're welcome to try out my BassCello.

Thanks, Marcus, but as luck would have it, I will be in your state during that time, while you will be in mine! Thanks again, though.

Oh, cool! Will you be in Maui? I'm in the book.

Actually, although I'd love to get over to Maui, I'll be in Oahu for 5 days!
