Barker vertical bass?

Anyone on the DB side here ever tried one? They've got a sponsored forum here at TB, and are online at www.barkerbass.com Nothing came up on a search here on the DB side of the forum. They've got a EB-sized scale length, but are DB-like (if you get the fretless) otherwise. Kind of interesting.

Smile the Barker bass

hey there,

i recently tried out both the fretted four string and the fretless four string and was very impressed with the tone and quality of the instruments.

i did find myself shifting to a three finger (1-2-4) approach in the money (the half position) as i do on upright.

i got a real kick out of playing the Barker basses.
