Best EUB for (slap) Rockabilly?

What is everyone's opinion on which I should be looking at?

I am leaning heavily towards the NS Wav because it is coming on sale next month at my local store. Not to mention it is probably the only EUB I will actually be able to play before buying, options are limited around here.

I mostly am interested in honing my skills (or developing them to begin with). I will be taking some lessons and I need to be able to take it there on a bus. The real deal is not an option at this stage.

I know you purists will freak and tell me that only a King Bass will do and so on, but I need practicality right now. I don't have the space for a true URB, and I won't be playing out live with it any time soon, so an EUB is just fine with me at this time.

I will invest later on if I get good enough on it, enjoy it enough and think that it might be something to explore more full time in a band.

Opinions?

I use that technique, not in a rockabilly context, but I do it on an Ergo.
It sounds good. It also has a very woody sound, something you won't get with the NS.
The more I play mine the more I think there is no better value for an EUB. It is the clear Econo choice.
