Hi,
It is the first time that I write on this forum (I hope I am doing right). If you are still interested on EUB builders try to see on this link http://www.alter-ego.it/
(It is an Italian website, I really do like its stile!)

Goto this site: http://gollihurmusic.com/links.cfm

and scroll down to the electric upright bass section (almost halfway down)

John Jordan does absolutely excellent work. I've had a chance to play on an EUB he built and not only was it incredible to look at but he designed the body in such a way that all the normal body contact points that you have playing an acoustic instrument are retained, but without any sort of bulkiness.

Worth checking out for sure.

Did you check the stickies at the top of the forum?
In particular this one:
How about a list of EUB's?

Best regards,
François

Try Steve Azola from Azola Basses.

He and Jill are two of the best peeps I've ever dealt with. True professionals and great customer service, too!

Don't know if he'll do full-off customs, but I'm pretty sure he'll modify his designs to your hearts content with just about any option you can come up with.

John Styklunas from the Boston area has been making all sorts of EUBs for many years. I have been kicking design ideas around with him for a long time but had health and financial disasters hit before I could pull the trigger.

Peace,
