Question Fichter replica

Hello!
I've got a small question, and if someone can help me I'll be pleased. I've got a replica of a Fichter EUB, but it has got a piezo pick-up inside the bridge. My question is: what is the best, and not the most expesive combo, which can I buy for it to get the best sound from this instrument?
Regards,
Marcel

What's wrong with the sound now? What kind of sound are you looking for?

Fichter to be continued

Hello!
The sound now (I'm using a very cheap amp - the old one Regent (NRD) ) is very bad. it is like a worse bass guitar, without any "double bass sound'. I'm looking for a sound similar to the acoustic double bass sound.
Regards,
M.N

Then get a Double Bass. I know that doesn't answer your question but it is the only way to get THAT SOUND.
In the meantime, for your fichter, you might want to look into pierre's string charger and K&K has some nice stuff for not much $.
