Nice instrument!
Is it an ad to sell it?
It's a bit confusing.

Best regards,
François

Landscape swing bass std

Looks like a nice bass to me! I tried the more expensive model (swing bass artist) in a store here in the netherlands two weeks ago. That one had very good sound and playability compared to my stagg EUB.

Good luck getting used to the upright feel!!

Landscape

That looks very nice! I have a Landscape archtop bass and have been interested in this brand. I have never seen another here in the US, I don't think they are distributed here. I would appreciate any info you can share on this brand. My understanding is their stuff is also sold under the name Atelier Z and is somehow connected to Aria Japan Custom Shop.
Here is the bass...

No, you don't need glasses- I do.

I am interested in your Landscape bass
How does it play in comparison to any others you have tried(both UB and EUB) . I am an Aria EUB user but havent had a chance to try out Landscape yet. I really like the fact the Landscape is using ebony boards . The Aria SWB-04 comes with a rosewood board but most models come with a painted maple board.

I hadnt heard that Atelier Z and Landscape are connected
It could be that all 3 of them use the same factory in Korea
I do know that Aria isnt in business AtelierZ and Landscape
I use Aria EUB

Sorry if this gets OT but a little more info about AtelierZ and Landscape
Here is your Landscape bass with a Atelier Z logo
Landscape also made another Archtop bass

Thanks

Some more pics of the Atelierz/Landscape EUB
My guess is Landscape is the Korean maker and AtelierZ (a Japanese maker and shop) is relabeling .In Japan both Landscape and AtelierZ are sold.

Thanks

Congrats on the Bass, That's an interesting placement for the tone controls, under the E string.
Is it hard to adjust while playing?

I've got one. I bought it a couple of years ago because it played lighter than my acoustic double bass (and I was still recovering from RSI).

Sounds great, not like a "bass guitar on a stick" at all, unlike the NS Design EUB I also tried at that time.

Loads of sustain and what we Dutchmen call "knor" (think Pastorius on a fretless).

I still use it for heavily amplified gigs, small stages and jam sessions, because it's easy to amplify, fits in any corner and easy to transport.

For jazz and acoustic pop, I've switched back to acoustic again, but NOT because I don't like the sound of the EUB. It's more that the audience and bandmembers like to see a "real" bass. And I must admit, the bulkyness of an acoustic bass is nice; like embracing a lady...

Note: Because the EUB has no body to rest your arm on, it's harder to play in tune on higher (octave+) notes.
