Unhappy Left handed Elec Upright bass

Hi, I'm a left handed bassist and i would love to get myself an upright bass but i'm having trouble finding any affordable basses out there. I can only spend up to 400 pounds. could i get a right handed one and then filp/change the bridge and nut? i have been thinking that if i really can't get a lefty then i may just lurn to play a righty upside down.

Any help anyone can give me would be great cus i'm rather stumped.

With a solid-body EUB, I don't think it's an issue, since there's no sound post or bass bar, which is the case with an acoustic UB.

Thank you for that after posting my Q i found out about the inside of a UB so the EUB is Deff the way to go. I'll see if i can find out any more info on changing the strings, bridge and nut on an EUB. Thank's, Shawn.

The profile of an EUB fingerboard is quite different from G to E in most cases, it's likely that some adjustment would be necessary there, too.
