Need BUDGET.

Hey,

Whats the cheapest electric upright bass I can get? I need one just to practice on while I'm on the road, without having to bring my Wan wherever I go as well.

Hi Alec,

First, let me say that I endorse AlterEGO basses, just so that's out in the open.

There is a new line that just hit, called Unico. These instruments are designed to be exactly what you describe above. There is a sponsored thread (still in its infancy!) here:

You may want to check the AlterEGO website also, since more info on the Unico is there.

Best,
Rick McLaughlin
