NSD electric cello

[Big Bass Daddy]

Anybody out there have any experience with the Steinberger cello?
I am wondering if it can be strung with conventional bass tunings but at a higher octave, kinda like a picollo bass but more mellow.

Or any experience with other EUBs that have been strung higher (like KYDD has a EUB picollo).
