Me to !

As soon as I get off today I'm going to Guitar Center and get a stand to try. This will be a new adventure for me as I have never played Bass in a fixed position.

Palatino Stand

JazzDude
Thanks for great info, I picked a heavy duty Ludwig boom stand and it worked out great.
God Bless, jzbass6

I'm glad the stand works for all of you.

Now set it up in the woodshed and start practicing!

Tell me how you stand still?

So tell me how you stand still while you play bass? I did get some great laughs today when I danced to the front side and played and back again. I need to make it move yet be fixed in a way I can at least move it with my big 2 platter rear end.
I play some other instruments but the bass make me dance?
Only for classical can I stay still. Am I normal or do I have a bad case of music poisoning?
