WOW! This is amazing! I was trying to have an experimental 41" and was about to built a wooden ergo-ish, but this one is a lot easier to assemble!!

I already have the tuners, an onboard acoustic guitar preamp and radio shack piezo buzzers. I'm ordering tonight a set of Hillbilly Slap strings and tomorrow morning I'll run for the tubes...

Thunderbroom, how is you bass nowadays? Still up and running? I am considering use it on stage. How stiff is it?

Wow, I forgot about this thread and just listened to the sample. It sounds great! It's got some nice thump. I know it's a recording but it sounds better than an Ergo to me. Maybe it's those weedwackers.

Now you got me thinking about building my own.
