Rattle/buzz on EDBs--has anyone had the fingerboard planed?

Hello, my EUB has a rattle/buzz and my teacher advises getting the fingerboard planed if necessary to correct this.

Has anyone here taken their EDB to a luthier to improve the sound? How did it go? Advice for me?

Mine is a Stagg EDB. Thanks everyone!

You are presently discussing this issue in the Stagg megathread so I'm closing this thread now.

FWIW, I had the fingerboards dressed on every instrument I got since almost 30 years, so there's nothing to worry about if the job is done by a good qualified luthier.
