Relearning upright (EUB): replace cheap strings now or later?

Hi, all,

I'm a new member (posted intro over in the EUB forum a couple of days back). I haven't played DB for about 15 years, so am relearning it. I just got a BSX ST-4 EUB, which has the Super Sensitive Red Label strings on it. When I ordered my bow from Bob Gollihur, I also ordered a set of Corelli 370 Forte guage strings. My question is, since I'm relearning everything, should I mess around with the stock strings for a while to save wear and tear on the Corellis, or should I just throw the good strings on immediately?

Any and all advice appreciated!

Thanks!

I'd change them right now.
Red Labels are cheap strings, quite stiff.
Better put good strings right away!

Not a big deal, Liam.
We just try to keep all EUB related stuff here, no matter if it's about strings, amps, etc.
