Short Scale EUB for Arco?

Sadly, I need to give up a full size upright (or regular scale EUB) because of really bad arthritis in the thumb/wrist joint. I can still play bass guitar, so I was wondering if there are any short-scale electric uprights that sound good with arco. Not a KYDD, please (I use to have one).

Many thanks for your help and Happy Holidays!

Brian

Great Suggestions!

Thanks all for such excellent suggestions. I had the NS Design CR4 bass, which was a wonderful instrument but rather "crunchy" on arco. I've also had Azola basses and was very happy with them. I will explore both and thanks all for helping me to keep playing!

Happy Holidays, Brian
