Solid Accoustic Standard

I have a mid 70's Solid Accoustic Standard, I was told that when I bought this EUB in 1990 that it was made by the same folks that went on to do Clevenger(sp?). It does look like the later Clevengers and I do remember this bass in a Downbeat magazine I saw in the early 70's or so listed as a Solid Accoustic Standard. I am trying to get something going with the transducers on the bridge. They have never worked correctly since I got the thing and I have been playing Pizz and uning the Pbass pickup at the end of the fingerboard. Does anyone know of anyone who does a tranducer install, I like the individual string idea with a buffer/mixer. I would not be opposed to a hex type arrangemet as well. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I think you have a Clevinger bass that was made for a time under the Able-Tech brand name. I suggest you contact martin@clevinger.com for advise.
