Soon to be EUB Activated

well, after some talking with the new band and helping sort out the my new direction and the possibility's (the guitarist has some VERY convincing contacts coughstevemorsecoughkeithurbancough) and from his urging im going to invest in an EUB, im not to concerened about getting the most convincing upright sound, although i do plan on getting a reverb pedal for use with it....and so far ive only played the dean pace which i like alot, especially that stand woo....but after a little browsing on the net i came across the Palatino VE-500 which looks rather cool....

ill be using it in the origional stuff ill be doing with the new band, but with people and the reputation that the new guitarist has i may end up getting into country playing and doing recordings and sessions in a short while...

ive had a look at ergo's a short while ago and i think the postage to aus may be a bit steep due to the length of them...the NS Eubs are WAAAYYY out of my price range, maybe when im doing alot of sessions i may upgrade....but are there any other suggestions or am i best to go with one of those two?

Yeah, this would be helpful to me as well, since I'm trying to decide between an Ergo and the Palatino.
