strings for EUB ...help!!

OK...
need set of strings for my EUB (still has originals on..no idea what they are ...cheap ones i imagine!!).
tomastick spirocores seem to be the ones to go for ...
but seems to be yet more options!
soft , medium, hard, wiechs, orchestra 4/4 3/4 red end, green end ARHHHHHHHHHH....on and on...
(much easier buying bass guitar strings!)

my EUB is a 3/4 size ..made by Bassix UK.
with mag and piezo pickups.
(great bass!)

so what spirocores would be best (after a modern jazz sound lots of growl etc)

dominants would give you monstrous growl but would also give you lots and lots of thump and stuff so they might not be the best way ...helicores are great...but weichs would be good....UNLESS YOU DO ANY BOWING AT ALL...i think they stink for bowing...very scratchy
