I've got a BEAUTIFUL 1976 Ric 4001 Serial number PG 5243.
Even after all the work I had done on it, Im just looking to get back what I paid for it. $1500. Everything's original for the exception of the case, one truss rod and the straplocks. I bought it recently here on TB from Engine207. (here's the original sales link - Bi-Centennial Ric! 1976 Rickenbacker 4001 JetGlo ) I love it to death, it looks, feels, sounds and plays amazing. I had the electronics gone over and had the truss rods replaced by Dale Fortune along with a new brass truss stabilizer bar as well as a pro setup and put some light gauge Rotosound 66 nickelwounds which are like peas and carrots on a rickenbacker as you may know... I also tracked down a 1977 rickenbacker hardshell case for her. I just can't justify keeping it because I'm set to get married November 1st, and I could use money more than I can use a 3rd rickenbacker (or a 9th bass) So im selling 6 of my 9 basses to clear room and open the wallet for future security. I'd really hate to get rid of this beauty, but there are priorities in my life, and I love my lady with all my heart and I need her and her security to be intact more than I need another bass.
Here are some pictures
