Next... A Blk/Maple 1994 SR4 2 band. 9.6 lbs Again ..a monster, the 2 band IMO, is the superior of the 2 eq's offered. This plays stellar. has LOTS of mojo and is well worn in. Some pitting on the muted bridge. $895 shipped no fee trans. gig bag.

Lastly..My stunning 1995 SR4 in Honeyburst. Ash/Maple 9.6 lbs. 3 band, stunning figuring on neck. Well worn . lots of mojo, some clear coat cracking on back, but all is stable. just had a fret level and tune up.has a D-Tuner. plays and sounds smooth . $875 shipped, no fee trans. gigbag.

I totally agree. The necks and build quality are stellar. I went MM crazy and over the yrs collected several. Im keeping 2. I just dont play 4's enough to justify so many instruments. So...I will share...

Yes, the 2 pictured are both available . These aren't your everyday, run of the mill stingrays. Both of these are special. The 2 band on the 94 is stoopid And the necks on both are amazing . The ash maple combo with the 3 band is smooth and full sounding.

FWIW, I used to have one almost IDENTICAL to the burst one (and if you got it from capnjim, it IS that bass) and it was one of the finest sounding Stingrays I've ever played. I'd have never gotten rid of it if I didn't get the 5'er I currently have.

Not the same one, but the ash/maple combo with the 3 band is one punchy beast
