*******3 DINGWALL BASSES - For Sale Only*********

Sign in to disble this ad
GAS is causing me no end of discomfort. In an effort to alleviate it I am putting 3 of my beloved Dingwalls up for sale (no trades please).

****SOLD****First and foremost is a pristine condition prototype Super J Custom Exotic 5 string. This is the first SJCE that Sheldon and Co. produced. The bass made a debut at the 2008 NAMM show. It is featured on the Dingwall website homepage among the rotating photos and is the first bass depicted in the SJCE gallery.

According to Sheldon the top is quilted, spalted, sapwoody bubinga and it is truly stunning. The neck is maple, body is alder, fingerboard is morado.

I have upgraded the electronics from the original Aguilar OBP1 to the Glockenklang. P/Us are Super Fatty.

This bass has no serial number as it was a prototype.

Own a piece of history $3800.00 c/w SKB hard case. *****GONE, BABY, GONE!*****

Next is a Super J standard 4 string w/ swamp ash top and body, baltic amber pickguard, walnut neck, morado fingerboard, FD4-J p/us and Glock preamp. Pristine condition. $2400.00

[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

Lastly, a gorgeous ABII 5 string- quilted redwood X top, walnut body and neck, wenge fingerboard, FD-3 p/us, glock preamp. Pristine condition. $3300.00

Thanks for looking.

Super J

Here are a couple of Sheldon's photos of the Super J Custom Exotic. They give a better representation of the true color.

Super J CE

Just thought I'd mention that the Super J 5 CE now has a push/pull active/passive volume pot with the installation of the Glock preamp so the mini toggle has been removed.

Dingwalls

I thought I should advise my American brethren that I live about 2 miles from the US border so I can easily hop across the line and ship from within the US.

No worries, Crusader. That ABII of yours is sweet and you are wise to keep it.

I don't really want to part with any of my Dingwalls either but GAS-cash=sell.

GAS

Well, there's a Dingwall Super P/J Custom Exotic 4 string that I'd like to get my hands on, there is an MTD 535 with an insane flamed owl's eye koa top, back & neck that I'm digging and I have the blood lust for a couple of Warwick Vampyre Custom Shop LTDs that I've found. I'm also lusting after a gorgeous Dingwall Prima Artist but I'd have to sell all of the above and then some to pull that off.

Not to mention, I recently depleted my already ailing new bass fund when I purchased a Traynor YBA300 from a fine fellow here on TB (great sounding head).

So much cool gear - never enough dollars!

Are the prices USD or Canadian?

**Edit, Just looked up the exchange rate, it really makes no difference. 1 to 1.0021 I thought it was a lot different. Love that Super J
