WOW ! Not only are these legendary basses not being made in USA anymore (at the moment) this is a chance for you to own a 1998 - The FIRST year of production for these legendary basses.
This bass is a player's bass. It is not in museum condition (thank god it's been played ! ) but it is in fantastic playing condition. It's actually in really great shape.
I have modded the knobs and pickups height adjustment with the Alembic design. This allows for a solid, exacting height.
I have also taken 600 grit sandpaper to the neck and it is like glass. Super fast, and no stickiness !
Again, this is a 1998. They were not sure this bass would sell, so the 98's have the best choice woods out there.
Also, the early Cirrus's seem to have more "Alembic" like pickup winding. Very articulate and they even say "MXY" on the back.

Hi Erik,
Weight is about 8-8.5 lbs. Very comfy and easy to play with all night. Yes, 35" scale. It makes all other basses feel like toys. That's a direct quote from another TB Cirrus fan !!

SOLD as sad as a it is. I really LOVE this bass but I had to pay bills. I'm sure that's a familiar story around here...I was really looking forward to modding this bass, too. I wish a TB'er got it.
