Here is your chance to get a super rare Rickenbacker 4004cii in Flame maple Fireglo. I have never seen a Rickenbacker with this much flame in the finish. This is the most expensive bass Rickenbacker offers. It is Maple with a Walnut core. 2 humbucking high output pickups. I had this bass upgraded with a change in the electronics to 500k pots and changed to volume , volume, tone configuration. Also added a hipshot bassextender. This bass is very rarely seen and I am sad to part with it but I just ordered a custom Alembic and need to sell it to help pay for the new toy. list price is over 2700. I will let it go for 2100.00 shipped to CONUS. I will also ship overseas. I accept paypal or wire transfer.

The 4004 looks great in fireglo. Also the VVT mod is a good idea for that bass.

Wow... simply WOW!

I got a question though. I got a bass recently with what looks to be those same strap buttons and after using it tonight, I've come to the conclusion that they must be the bass end of some locking system. Can you confirm this? Can you tell me which locking system?

they are part of the schaller strap lock system

Don't misunderstand, your price is marketable, but because it is marketable, you just saved me from ... at best..... marriage counseling, at worst..... divorce court!

That is the hipshot bass extender for drop d tuning. Can't do that on a 4003. Pricing is very good as list is over 2700 without the drop d tuner(100) and the mods(150)

It would look very nice next to it's cousin!
