Exclamation ***It is with Deep Regret (or relief?) that I'm putting the MOTHMAN up for trade!***

You know the story, the saga, the legend, the bass!!! It's a very cool bass, but I have no practical use for her. Would prefer a local trade, but I'm open to shipping if it's the right deal (shipping the beast will be very expensive).

Bottom line is that she's very well constructed. I was pretty shocked because I assumed that it was "all show, no go", but the reality is that she plays well, sounds great and is a lot of fun to play. Neck is kinda chunky (does not bother me as I have large hands) and she obviously weighs a lot (prob north of 12 lbs or so).

Hit me with trade offers. Mostly interested in basses, but feel free to run other things past me. Please send your trade offers in a PM.

If only she came with it, I would surrender my entire guitar and bass collection.

I'm debating within myself the pros and cons of buying it just so my wife can look at it and say something like "That?! You didn't talk to me about it first and you spent money on THAT?!?!?!?! "

If I ever regained consciousness after the inevitable beating, I'm sure I'd get a good laugh out of her reaction.

That might be exactly what this thread is about.

I kind of think that this thing needs to keep getting passed around to TB members whose significant others would be willing to keep up the....um...photo tradition. If you know what I'm saying. (Which rules me out, by the way. Although I guess I could ask....)

Indeed, t'was the power of the G&L and the glory of the great Leo that exorcised the hellish beast from Brother Eyeball. If you need, Quad, I can bring another L1K to you for the ritual exorcism.....will this madness never end?!

OMG this thing just got traded like a week or so back!
Is it devouring souls THAT fast?

Would you trade it for a Spector Legend 5 Trans black? (Eh, a Legend, for THE LEGEND? )
It's got some decent buckle rash but other than that it's in good condition.

I also have no "practical use" for the beast, but I'm sure I could get someone else to trade it once it has hollowed out my very being.

If you're interested I could send some pics.

EDIT: I solemnly swear that if I get the BEHEMOTH in trade that I will take new pictures of a younger, hotter, possibly even more scantily clad babe before I trade the bass who's name I dare not speak.

Wow, that's amazing. I thought I look at the TB Classifieds too much but I'd never heard of the Mothman before today. It's hypnotic really.
