*** Selling most of my gear - 4 basses inside - Gibsons, USA Peavey & Ibanez***

Sign in to disble this ad
I may be willing to do a multi-trade....a couple of mine for one of yours, but am mostly looking to sell.

I will post pictures tonight.

I'm posting past, really bad blurry pics for now.

Gibson RD Artist - Black
The bass itself is in great condition, good frets, truss works, has MOOG electronics, electronics function perfectly and plays really well.
It has a non-original Hipshot 3 point bridge, replacement switch tips, but the rest is all original as far as I know. It has some cosmetic finish wear (see future pics), but overall ok condition. The biggest is a wear spot from a buckle on the back.
The previous owner installed some sort of Fender 5 string bridge on the bass, so there are screw holes in the body from that. Almost all of the holes are hidden by the Hipshot.

$900 shipped and insured no case
(I'm not sure if I have a gig bag that will fit this, but I'll check. If I do, I'll send it in a gig bag)

Gibson RD Standard - Black
Similar to the Artist in condition, but not as cosmetically worn....less player wear. Again, the frets are good, the truss functioning as it should, and the electronics are good. Right now, I have a replacement Hipshot bridge on it, but also have the original Gibson bridge and hardware. So this one is completely original.
The only real negative about this bass is that it has a slight smell to it. Like a basement or closet smell. I've cleaned the bass and the case, but it seems deeper than that. I haven't perused getting the stink out of it, so it's probably an easy task for someone who has the time. The case isn't in the best condition but works and isn't falling apart. I think the locking latch doesn't work and there is some pitting on the metal latches.

pic from the day I got it...

$800 shipped and insured with original case

USA Peavey Millennium 5 - Transparent Blonde

This bass plays really well and sets up nicely. The frets are good, electronics perfect, and the truss works as it should.
This one is probably 9.0-9.5/10 in cosmetic condition, as there are a few dings in the body and a small mark on the headstock. (see pics)

$500 shipped and insured with gig bag

Ibanez ATK305 - Tri-fade SOLD
Got this recently, and it's probably one of the best sounding and playing that I have (surprising for such an affordable bass).....I just can't get into the color combination (maple on Tri-fade).
The bass is in good condition all around. If I recall correctly it has some minor marks on the neck (pics of this to follow), otherwise, like new.

$300 shipped and insured with gig bag SOLD

I am sure I forgot some details, so feel free to ask. Thanks!

Better pictures coming tonight.

**note: I reserve the right to freak out and pull these off the market, if I can't handle selling them **

I will say this people: That Mill 5 is a great bass. I had a bass with the identical trans white finish and those style tuners:

If it were a J/J, I'd be all over it!

Just to clear up any confusion on the RD Standard.....

I've installed the hipshot bridge on the Standard, but I have the original bridge safely stored away in a baggie with the original studs.

Not a plus, just the standard.
