1969 Fender Mustang
Competition Red
Matching Headstock
Lollipop Tuners
Fender Hardshell Case
Plays great, sounds great.
A few frets past the 12th fret are buzzing and the bass may need a good set up.
Bass appears all original except for a few screws.
Don't miss this great bass!
is the neck straight and are the frets original? does the truss rod work? is the fret board level? what % fret wear? is that the original case? do all the electronics work? thanks- cool bass
The neck is straight until about the 14/15th fret where it starts to have some buzzing frets. Again, seems like a standard Fender/40+ year old bass problem.
Frets are original.
Truss rod works well.
I did not level the board.
The frets seem to have good life left. I can take pictures of them from the side if you'd like.
That is not the original case, but it works well.
Electronics work well and the bass sounds great.
I had a Mustang with the exact same specs last month that sold for $1,750. I wanted the price to reflect being lower than the current market value so that the buyer would have some money left over to address the neck if they liked playing up that high.
