$200 shipped OBO with really nice gig bag.
Update: I'd be willing to trade for bass or guitar pedals.....
I got this bass recently, a few condition issues were not pointed out to me by the seller, and was refused a refund.
The bass is completely playable as-is.
No major issues, sets up decent, and sounds good. More below.
I'm going to be completely honest about it's condition, since that's the way I roll. I don't need this bass anymore, since I do not have a band to play it in. I have a few other basses that I just can't sell, so this one goes.
GOOD:
-The bass sounds really good. I was surprised by it instantly. In general the tone is pretty good, IMO. Kind of Stingray-ish mixed with P bass.
-The Low B is huge sounding. HUGE. did not see that coming.
-I love the look. Unique shape, walnut wood, and simple finish.
-Extremely solid bass.
-Truss works as it should
-Electronics are passive, single humbucker, and vol/tone controls.
The Not So Good:
-The bass sets up alright, but needs a little more time setting it up. Might need some nut work. I've got it close.
-The previous seller said it needed some fret dressing, but I didn't notice anything too bad.
- The clear coat finish isn't perfect. streaky in some places. Not terrible, but again, not perfect.
- The pickup isn't centered on the strings as well as it should. Not an issue.
-The body's center laminate strip isn't centered either.
- there's a knot in the wood on the face of the bass.
- the rear control cover doesn't match the route exactly. It attaches securely, but there are some gaps.
The Bad:
- The neck pocket cut is sloppy. This is what the seller didn't tell me. I don't think it effects the stability or durability at all.....just doesn't look good.
The neutral:
Fake Cat inlays. Some like it, some don't. I'm sending the bass with them, but they can easily be removed.
Round dot wood inlays underneath.
I will post better pictures tonight of the bass and gig bag....but this is what I have for now.....cell pics.
