Trade is virtually complete just waiting on the Metallic Gray DJ5 to arrive. While this deal was in the works I had 2 other DJ5 deals also in progress. One metallic gray with/rw board and the other is white pearl/maple board with Chi-Sonics. So as it stands now I've got killer 2 DJ5's on hand and plan to keep. The one on the way will most likely be immediately up for sale as I don't think I need 3 of them.
If your interested, let me know. Will post ad and pics soon. If you want dibs holler at me ($1050.00 - shipped). Looking for an outright sale for now.
Thanks - Will close this post soon.

Hello-
Picked up this Level 5 recently on TB. It's a great playing and sounding bass and a very light 9lbs, totally 100% functional. Here are a few details and link to the original thread and Matt Pulcinella website showing post-production pic. I'd love to keep it but I'm closing a deal on a DJ5.
Basically looking to get back what I paid for the bass ($750.00 which I thought was a steal) plus the cost of the Glock pre minus a few bucks. Which I think is still a good deal for a very unique bass. I may talk myself out of selling it by the end of this posting. Never had a chance to play out with it, drats...
Specs:
-Aero pups (smokin' - my first time hearing them)
-New Glockenklang 3 band pre (w/ pull-up volume to go passive option - my new fave preamps, I thought I was set with the Audere 4band Classic)
-Bubinga to-die-for top - clean w/ beautiful grain
-Bubinga copper shielded cavity cover - new, by Custom Reserve
-Swamp Ash body - beautiful grain w/ a couple of love dimples,
-Maple neck - yellowing a bit but perfectly straight
-Pau Ferro fretboard (killer slap tone, reason enough to keep it)
-Straplocks
-Black hardware - looks like Gotoh tuners, very similar to Hipshot Ultralites, not sure about the bridge it's very solid with 3-way adjustment
-35" scale
-19mm string spacing at bridge
-9lbs per digital scale
-Well balanced sitting or standing
-Hardshell case original
-Played but not abused, bass has something special IMHO, bass just has a nice vibe. Been using it at home with a Carvin BX500 and Bergantino HT115, it's lovely.
-I had a phone conversation with Matt Pulcinella to find out production year (2000) and to confirm the pups are by Aero. He also mentioned if this bass was ordered today it would run about 2K.

FYI - Not really looking to do any trades right now unless you have a white DJ5 w/ maple board. We'll see what happens. Thanks
