Thought I was going to use this as a back up, but I decided not to......I got this here back in April. It's in pristine condition except for one nick, that my clumsiness put on it. It's a small ding in the finish on the body. Other than that it's perfect.
It was wonderfully set up from the previous owner.
Active 3 band EQ with a "slap" switch
maple neck, ebonol board
9.5 lbs
....here is the thread I bought it from: FS: Fender Squire Deluxe Jazz Bass V - Active 5-String - Mint!
[b]$ 240 shipped/insured to Cont US... paypal only please Attachment 219461 Attachment 219460

| | and it will work for you, too | | Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: The Winter Wonderland | | | Played one just like this today on my weekly trip at Elderly Instruments.
All I can say is: How do they make a bass that cost so little yet plays so well?
Bump for a great yet inexpensive bass. |

I was playing around with it today and noticed that there is a hum when you have the pickups panned to either the bridge by itself or the neck by itself. It's not that big of a deal but it is there. When you have it selected to both pickups, it is not there at all, no hum. I have only played it with both pickups that's why I had not noticed it before. Probably just a ground issue? I can't imagine it's a major problem. Just want to let you know in full disclosure.

I looked inside the cavity and everything looks fine.
