*****SOLD*****
This is one of the prettiest, best sounding Stingrays I've played to date, but I just can't wrap my mind around playing a 4-banger. I've played nothing but 5's and 6's for 13 years so I keep trying to reach down to that low B string.
Probably one of the punchiest basses I've played, and it has that typical Stingray tone in spades, but to my ear just a cut above the other ones I've played. Lava Pearl finish (beautiful) with a white pearloid pickguard, maple neck and board. Has a rare matching headstock.
Doesn't have any dings or scratches except for three on the neck, right around the 4th fret, that I photographed below. The smallest one is as wide as a piece of paper, the thickest one about as wide as a dime (and about that deep), all around a quarter inch (5mm) long. When I play I can't feel them, but of course most of the nerves in my hand are surrounded by fat.
