Hey Folks,

After much patience and a lot of GAS-ing for a Peavey T-40, I recently found and purchased this great bass. I fell in love with my KOA made Peavey Dyna Unity and had my eye on one of these T-40s for quite a while, to supplement and add to the herd rotation. Its a great bass in every way. I bought it locally (here in NJ) from the original owner who maintained it very well. Kept in case for most of a decade. Its just too much bass for me . Hoping to sell locally (NJ/NY/CT/PHIL) and recoup most of what I paid.

All details and great pics are here in my local post:

Click: Vintage Peavey T-40 (T40) Bass Guitar, Made in USA, w/HSC, Excellent!

All you Peavey lovers and T-40 honchos out there, come take a look. A great package.

Asking $550.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks,

JM

Thanks. Yes, I have some great 'toys'! This T-40 is even a better toy than my GI Joe with the Kung Fu Grip!

....that's a joke....

Re: The trade offers...sorry, really prefer to sell this bad boy! Thanks much!

Easily one of the nicest grain matching jobs on the body wood that I have seen.

Posting multiple decent quality photos to a CL listing must have given Craig himself a coronary. Virtually unheard of - most CL sellers post those funky "hidden camera" phone pix.

That must be the twin brother of the first bass I owned... probably made close to $10,000 playing gigs with that bass, and it was just a dead reliable workhorse of a bass. Still have it 20 years later and it still plays like it did then. Just has a heck of a lot of wear after all that playing. The tops of the pickups are practically worn through after thousands of hours of use.

Good luck with the sale.
