Sold to Bonafide!

All-

Pains me to sell this one but I've made some other recent purchases and some stuff has to go (also my Fender 5 string and one of my pre-amps are also for sale). I've had this one a while now and man, it's a GREAT bass. This baby is 100% original! Has REAL flame maple body wings (not just top). This is something that you don't see much of as it's expensive to do.

Low action, plays smmmooth as silk, etc. This is one of the last TL's produced just before they introduced the Cirrus line. This was Peavey's top of the line bass before the Cirrus. This one even has the same pickups as the Cirrus (the later TL's came with these and the older ones had different pickups) and the 2 band active pre-amp (2 stacked knobs per pickup) instead of the single band version found on the older TL-5. Truly is an AWESOME bass. It has new Fender Nickel Wounds on her too!

Comes with the original hardshell case that is now beat to crap, but still will protect the bass well. The bass is in great shape with a straight neck, very little fret wear, very few dings (and they are extremely small), etc. I don't know how or why the case is rough shape and the bass is in such great shape. I suspect that somebody may have swapped a more beat up TL case for the one that came with this bass but can't say for sure. $475 shipped CONUS. I believe these retailed for about $1700 when new...

OK, ya'll made me pull out all the stops! Just installed a brand new set of Schaller matching (gold) strap locks. I'm including the strap side pieces as well. Cost me $24...
