Arrow *1962 Fender Jazz bass Reissue Made in Japan '84-'87 ' burst ! ***

Sign in to disble this ad
Remember back in the 1980's when "made in Japan" started to appear on basses and we thought that they were cheap and inferior ? WOW, how the test of time has shown that Made In Japan Fender basses have become the most coveted basses out there. The quality and craftsmanship is superior.

Well, here is a 1984-1987 Fender Jazz Bass !!! It's an 8 out of 10 in condition and a 10 out of 10 in playability and tone. The action is stupid low, and there are zero dead spots. Nice growl, and the classic jazz bass tone you expect from a Fender.

This is the 1962 Fender jazz bass reissue with reverse tuners and weighs ONLY about 8 lbs. You can gig ALL night with this bass and not have a sore shoulder.

This is your chance to get one heck of a jazz bass. It doesn't get much better than this.

Watch the youtube video "1962 Fender jazz bass reissue of Disco Inferno". It's not me playing, but it's this exact bass and the tone is SICK !!!! Disco Inferno by The Trammps BASSLINE by Rino Conteduca with Fender jazz bass 62 reissue - YouTube

$950 plus shipping or best offer...

BUMP - This is THE bass to own. If I can sell some other stuff, I wouldn't mind keeping this out of principle...

Whether that's a compliment or an insult, I say thanks ! So many ads are boring, and I have to keep in mind that there are TB'ers younger than I am who are maybe unfamiliar with made in Japan stuff, etc...

Yes, it is a cool bass. I, not being a Fender guy, love this bass but have GASSED waaaayyy beyond my means and this is a casualty of that.

Not an insult at all. Start any sentence with "Remember back in the 1980's" I am expecting you to sell me a prom song compilation with Air Supply, Journey, and some Peter Cetera.

By the way, that is a crazy-good video of Disco Inferno on YouTube. I never cared much for the song until I heard you play those killer bass lines. Great job. And that bass sounded great!

It's not me playing that song. I was using it as a demo for this bass. The guy who plays it have some great chops. He probably does the best version on Youtube.
I do have a few vids up of me, though showing my Peavey Cirrus basses. (michaelofpetaluma)

Yes, that bass line is SICK on Disco Inferno ! I think it's pretty ingenius and that '70's stuff is gold..
