Skjold Custom 5 with original '92 Skjold body style
Sapele Mahogany body - the body wood on this bass is what Pete has recently used as a TOP wood on some of his latest basses! It is that good looking.
Highly figured Redwood top with contrast layer - hand picked by me and Pete in his shop when we both lived in Texas.
35" scale, 24 fret, 18mm spacing (adjustable)
Bloodwood fingerboard - incredibly hard wood with fantastic tone
Skjold C-4 pick-up (two Split coil pick-ups in a single housing)
Matching Redwood, laser engraved (Skjold) pick-up housing
Skjold/East pre-amp system (9v): Volume, four position rotary pickup selector, tone (active/passive push-pull), stacked treble (super bright push-pull) bass (boost only), stacked mid frequency sweep/boost cut. Needless to say, this preamp can dial in ANY tone you'd like.
Five piece Maple/Purpleheart neck with satin finish and Pete's compound radius.
Custom Hipshot hardware (ultralight tuners and custom Skjold design bridge)
Skjold metal control knobs (not the wooden knobs pictured)
New, this bass would currently run over $4000 and would take about 12-14 months to build.

The bass is in perfect condition and has just been set up with new R. Cocco strings.
I will also throw in a free additional set of R. Cocco strings and a brand new hard case with the sale.
