*SOLD* BC Rich Bich Baritone/6-string bass $350

Now here's a fun one. This is a BC Rich Bich Baritone guitar/6-string short scale bass. These 30" scale guitars were setup to either be played as a Baritone Guitar with a low A string or as a short scale 6-string bass, which is how I chose to string it up. Tuned E to E, just like a regular guitar but with all strings tuned one octave lower. This bass is perfect, no scratches, no wear, like brand spankin' new. I bought it just a few months ago. I never used it at a gig, but I did bring it to a few rehearsals. It sounds great, and the feel and action is superb. BUT, to me at least, it doesn't have the low thick "normal" bass sound that I need for the heavy music that I play. It is basically a "bass-lite". I believe this is for three reasons: short scale, bridge pickup only, and light gauge strings .20 - .90. Included with this bass is a brand new Musican's Friend gigbag and two new sets of Ernie Ball short scale 6 string (E to E) Bass Guitar Slinky nickel wound strings. This is a fun one to play around with and has many potential uses. Just don't expect the big bottom of a normal bass. USPS Priority shipped w/insurance in the US is $350. Includes the extra strings and new gigbag. PayPal or mail-in accepted.

*BUMP*

No love for the Bich Baritone? Is there a BaritoneTalk forum around here somewhere?

I'm definitely interested, since I play baritone guitar, and a full 30" scale is attractive. Unfortunately for you, I'm broke and in the middle of moving.

Yes, there is an ERG (extended range guitar) site. It's not TB, but it's not a constant teenaged flame war like a lot of guitar sites.

www.sevenstring.org

Try there. They're all guitarists, though. I don't think anyone buys a baritone for use as a bass there.
