Hey guys,

If you'd like more/better pictures, please just ask, as I don't think the color comes through very well in these. It's very jewel-like and shiny in real life!

Here's the specs!

Tobias Renegade 5, SN:9022
-Strung B-G
-Alder body, 3pc maple neck, maple fretboard
-Black aluminum Hipshot bridge
-Black Hipshot ultralite tuners
-Original Bartolini MM+J pickups
-Demeter 3-band 18v pre + coil tap switch for MM
-Recently refinished in an absolutely gorgeous blue/teal gloss finish (only one like it!); fretboard/neck refinished at same time (sanded/wooled very very smooth)
-Recently refretted with medium-jumbo frets, and have been leveled precisely and crowned for more precise intonation

This bass is basically brand new, and there is no visible wear, marks, stains, anything. It sounds incredible! My main bass for the last 8 or so years is exactly identical to this, except that it has an ABM bridge and Bartolini 3 band. The only reason I'm selling is because the other bass is so similar that I am just not using this one enough. It's hard to reach for this one when the other bass is practically an extra limb! (It's in the background of the first pic, actually)

If you've ever played a Renegade and were not that impressed, it usually comes down to the preamp. These basses absolutely come alive when an active preamp is put into them. This bass would be a keeper for me if I didn't have the other Renegade, and I would never, ever sell that one!

If anyone has any questions, please be sure to ask!

Because of all the modifications ($500+), I'm asking $1000+shipping, which seems pretty fair. It does include a hard case, as well.

Thanks!

Extra note: Scale length is 34". I use ultra light strings with a .120 B, and it's still tight as hell.

Any pics of the back and headstock? If you don't mind me asking,... who did the refret refinish work?

Sure, I'll take some pics right now.

To be honest I do not know who did the refret/refinish, as it was done just prior to the previous owner selling it. So it came to me basically brand new. I had the frets leveled and crowned to make sure they were perfect.

I could probably find out who did it, though.
