*ULTRA RARE G&L LB-100 BASS WITH A #6 NECK IN 3 TONE SUNBURST AND MAPLE FRETBOARD!!*

I am selling a bass that I purchased used a few years ago, but have not played. This G&L LB-100 is in excellent condition with zero fret wear. The guitar is three tone sunburst, with a maple fretboard. I am the second owner, but the bass is all original, except for the Dunlop Strap Locks and the new Flatwound Strings. The condition is very clean with only one tiny mark on the back in the middle of the lower cut away (see photos). This guitar is "cherry" for it's age!!

I am also including a new Chandler Pickguard in Aged Pearl (worth $90.00) with the bass. I purchased this because the original owner had scratched (pick wear) the tortoise one when they had it.

It has an extremely rare #6 neck, most of these came with a wider P-Bass neck. In fact I have never even seen another LB-100 with this neck option, it must have been a special order when new. I have spoken with other G&L "experts" and they also claim they have never seen a Legacy Bass with the #6 neck. I'm sure some of the guys here on TB can verify this!!

...............I am the second owner, and the neck has never been off this bass. It will have date stamps on both the neck and body pockets, but I did not want to remove the neck unless someone insisted. Older G&Ls can be tricky in getting an accurate date with just the serial number. Maybe some of the G&L aficionado's here on TB can get a better age idea with just the serial number and the G&L Registry??

..................That's what makes this one so special. The wide neck ones are a "dime a dozen". You can't find LB-100s with the narrow (1 1/2") profile!!
